On Wednesday 11 October, PGS x MAIDS-GRID were honored to welcome H.E. Jonathan Kings, New Zealand Ambassador to Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos as Global Ed Series #5 guest speaker on Sustainability in Public Management. The Ambassador shared with us examples of notable sustainability initiatives and programmes in New Zealand that are the results and benefits of citizen engagement, transparency, and responsibility of the public sector. PGS students visit Asian Development Bank

On Wednesday 11 October 2023, Year 4 Administration & Society Class had an opportunity to visit the Asian Development Bank, Thailand office to learn about ADB's roles as an example of an international organization assisting countries’ development in the region. We would like to thank Khun Roykaew Nitithanprapas, Khun Chitchanok Annonjarn, and Khun Krittayamon Paocharoen for their time and sharing with us about their work. And thank you ADB Thailand!

Guest Speaker Session!

On 3 October 2023, our esteemed guest speaker, Khun Noppatjak Attanon, a Team lead Online Editor and Digital Content Creator from Workpoint Entertainment, took a stage at PGS in the topic “New Media Landscape in Thailand” in PGS’s Media and Political Imagination course. His insights about challenges that traditional media and news agency has to face in the digital age in Thailand where social media has strong influence on Thai people. His insights empowering our students with a deeper understanding about how media both tradition and social media played their roles in media stream.

Guest Speaker Session!

On 12 September 2023, Our guest speaker, “Khun Akkanut Wantanasombut”, came to share a great knowledge in the topic Digital Divide: The Role of Communication Technology in Thailand's Informal Sector at PGS in Media and Political Imagination class.

PGS was very honored to have Khun Akkanut as our guest speaker and bring invaluable inspiration and knowledge to our students.

PGS Orientation 2023 (Lunch with Dean)

PGS Students meet with Dean and Faculty members in a welcome lunch session on 10th July, 11.30-14.00 hrs. They were introduced to academic-journey throughout 4 years of studying at Chulalongkorn University and our partner institutions: University of Essex and University of Queensland from Dean, our program committees, instructors, and supporting staff.

We are excited to welcome the new students to our PGS International Program in today’s orientation session by the program committees and faculty members. We would like to extend a warm and enthusiastic greeting as you, PGS#IV embark on your new journey with us.

On October 25, 2022 , the Faculty of Political Science hosted Ms. Majella Ferguson, Senior Manager International Services, University Of Queensland, for the introductory session for a new cohort of students who will travel to study at the University of Queensland under the PGS program.

University of Essex Team Visit to Chulalongkorn

In the online orientation, they were introduced to academic-journey throughout 4 years of studying at Chulalongkorn University and our partner institutions, which are the University of Essex and the University of Queensland. They also learn about the program's structure, course outlines, and also academic matters presented by the program committees, instructors, and supporting staff.

Moreover, we are very glad to have academic and supporting team from our partner institutions joining online session to have a discussion with our students.
